# About

These repositories are the home of all things homelab for me. From ansible deployment scripts and terraform configurations, to documentation and docker compose files. Everything that I deploy in my homelab will be listed and documented in these repositories.

The purpose of this exercise is to allow me to learn new technologies and practices, while incorporating them into everyday life for me. One key example of this would be my DNS servers, which handle traffic across multiple VLANs on my network for internal web queries.

# My Homelab

My homelab originally started out as a single Raspberry Pi 3 plugged into an external hard drive that I used as a NAS server. As you can probably imagine, the performance wasn't the best. This quickly evolved to an old mac mini that made use of SSD speeds and a gigabit network connection.

Since then, my homelab has been continually evolving as my learning and skillset developed, to the point where I am now running multiple dedicated servers, as well as a kubernetes cluster, and a small cloud environment.
